How to convert images to PDF
- Drop your images on the box above, click it to pick files, or paste a screenshot with Ctrl+V. You can keep adding more.
- Put the pages in order by dragging the thumbnails or with the arrow buttons. Remove anything you do not need.
- Choose the page size, orientation and margin. "Fit to image" makes each page the size of its picture; A4 and Letter are best for printing.
- Click Create PDF. The file downloads straight away.
Good uses for an image to PDF converter
- Scanned documents: combine phone photos of a contract, form or receipt into one tidy PDF for email or upload.
- Applications: many portals accept a single PDF only, for example for ID proof, certificates or mark sheets.
- Portfolios and reports: collect screenshots, designs or photos into a document that opens the same on every device.
Tips for a clean PDF
- Photograph documents in good light, flat on a table, so the text is easy to read.
- Use "Auto" orientation so landscape photos get landscape pages and nothing is shrunk more than needed.
- If the PDF is too large for an upload limit, tick "Compress images" and create it again.
Private by design
The PDF is assembled in your browser with an open source PDF library. Your images are never uploaded, so personal documents stay on your device, and there are no limits on the number of pages. JPG and PNG images are embedded without re-compression, so the PDF looks exactly like your originals.
Frequently asked questions
Which image formats can I use?
JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP and AVIF, plus anything else your browser can open. JPG and PNG files are placed in the PDF as they are, so they keep their full quality; other formats are converted first.
How do I change the page order?
Drag a thumbnail to its new place, or use the up and down arrow buttons on each card, which also work with the keyboard. The page number on each card updates as you go.
What does "Fit to image" page size mean?
Each page is made exactly as large as its image, so there are no white borders. Choose A4 or Letter when you need a document that prints on standard paper; images are then scaled to fit inside the margins without being stretched.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. The PDF is built in your browser. Your images and the finished PDF never leave your device, which makes the tool safe for scans of IDs, receipts and contracts.
How can I make the PDF smaller?
Turn on "Compress images" to re-save every picture as a JPG at good quality before it is added. This often cuts the PDF size by more than half, especially for phone photos and PNG screenshots.
